Sport Canada occurs as branch of the Department of Canadian Heritage & is responsible for troika program areas: sport software download, sport policy, & major games and hosting. A Minister of State (Sport) is directly responsible for Sport Canada & reports to the Minister of Canadian Heritage. A todays Minister of State (Sport) is Stephen Owen.
